Chris Zervos of Toledo was honored at the 61st annual convention of the Mid-Eastern Federation of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians in Akron.
Mr. Zervos received an award for Orthodox Church musicians who made significant contributions to church music ministry at the regional and national levels.
A four-term past president of the Greek Orthodox musicians group, Mr. Zervos is a building inspector for the City of Toledo and a choir accompanist at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
