Yesterday a ceremony of transfer of three Jericho land parcels to Russia took place in Moscow.
The mayor of Jericho handed over the allotment certificate to the Russian party. The document reads that Russia owns a land parcel of 12 000 m2 with a Christian Sanctity – a Sycamine mentioned in Luke 17:6.
Besides, the Russian side received two land parcels in Moscovia, meaning Moscow Land.
The agreement on the plots in the Holy Land was concluded during the recent meeting with Palestinian National Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas. The Russian government plans to create centres of Russian culture, the Russian language and Orthodoxy in the new territories.
