Commemorated on January 8Saint Helladius suffered with St Theophilus the deacon. After confessing Christ before the governor of Libya, they were tortured and slain.

Your holy martyrs Helladius and Theophilus, O Lord, / Through their suffering have received an incorruptible crown from You, our God. / For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries, / And shattered the powerless boldness of demons. / Through their intercessions, save our souls!
