It is very good to make contact with you, Sophocles. I am a beginner when it comes to understanding Orthodoxy & it looks like your blog will be a good resource, especially for finding information about Orthodoxy around the world.

Russian Orthodoxy. Hmm. A big topic. I can suggest that you look on my sidebar under "Index of Topics" for news having to do with the Russian Orthodox Church.
In exploring Orthodoxy I wish you a fruitful discovery and experience of the vast treasure which is the Holy Orthodox Catholic Faith as held by the Church which is, has been and remains the Orthodox Catholic Church.
This endeavor, to understand, will engender a lifetime(and beyond) to explore and fathom the depths which are indeed unfathomable as the depths are very God of very God.
Immerse yourself, as you are able, into study and even more importantly, into the experience of Orthodox worship in an Orthodox temple with those who are themselves Orthodox.
