Greek Food Festival in Las Vegas

The annual Greek Food Festival is taking place this week begginning on Thursday September 6 and going on until

Sunday September 9.

This is a really big event in Las Vegas and 40,000 people plus are estimated to attend.

My brother Costa will be volunteering these 4 days there in the bookstore. Costa is to be found at the bookstore every Sunday as this is one of his services to his parish.

He absolutely loves the bookstore as it gives him an opportunity to speak about the Orthodox Faith to any and all.

As well as carrying an ever growing library, St. John's also has DVDs and a good collection of liturgical music, also under the care of Costa.

The image on this post is the donation "ad" my brothers, Costa and Yianni and I bought to be put in the souvenir magazine put out each year by the Festival. Our goal is not to advertise ourselves primarily but to announce to the world our Holy Orthodox Faith.
