Resurrectional Apolytikion in the Second Tone
When You descended unto death, O Lord who yourself are immortal
Life, then did You mortify Hades by the lightning flash of Your
Divinity. Also when You raised the dead from the netherworld, all the
Powers of the heavens were crying out: O Giver of life, Christ our God,
glory be to You.
Seasonal Kontakion in the First Tone
Your birth sanctified a Virgin's womb and properly blessed the
hands of Symeon. Having now come and saved us O Christ our God, give
peace to Your commonwealth in troubled times and strengthen those in
authority, whom You love, as only the loving One.
