Apostle Apelles of the Seventy

The Holy Apostle Apelles of the Seventy was a bishop in the city of Smyrna (on the Eastern coast of the Aegean Sea). The holy Apostle Paul mentions him in the Epistle to the Romans (Rom. 16:10).
