Please be sure to scroll down past the Saint or Feast of the day.
After the Saint or Feast of the day I post my "Main Posts". These may be anything including original articles, book reviews, adding new blogs to my web page and just about anything new I may wish the reader to read.
Please note I do not always have "Main Posts" posted.
I tend to leave "Main Posts" up for several days.
Sophocles
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI came here from Google Help forum, to test your comment
Dear Sophocles, I left two comments for you.
ReplyDeleteChrist trampled death by death. With His Resurrection, Christ has saved all of mankind.
ReplyDeleteIt would be very kind if you could let your readers know about the December issue of our twice-yearly journal 'CHRISTVS REGNAT':

Please pray for me!
God bless you!

Please forgive me, dear friend, if I do not. With pain in my heart I am turning down your request as I see you ask in kindness and with love and that you ask for my prayers and you have asked the Lord to bless me. I too ask His blessing upon you and that your work may be pleasing in His sight and that it will endure the trial of fire all works must endure.
ReplyDeleteBut I stand strongly behind my Church and only the Church and cannot in good conscience promote a Roman Catholic site.
Please forgive me in advance, as this is not meant to give you or any Roman Catholic offense.
The chief of sinners,
Sophocles
Dear Sophocles,
ReplyDeleteI hope that you will, nevertheless, pray for me as I pray for you.
May God bless you!
I will. What is your first name?
ReplyDeleteHello again. It's hard to keep up with your blog posts - where do you find the time to create these massive things? It's impressive, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your interest in my blog. My first post has become somewhat controversial, and I never meant for that to happen. To answer your question, I do believe in God, I'm just not so sure about the historical figure of Jesus Christ.
My latest blog post looks at the torture propaganda we are given daily in the mainstream media. It's nothing preachy, just a quick and mostly-neutral observation.
BD,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliment but I can take no real credit as several years ago I began posting on the Saint or Feast of the Day which the Orthodox Church commemorates. I did this, for one reason, as a way to better get acquainted with these lives and feasts.
I "cut and paste" to do this so the work has been done for me.
I do offer original posts as well when I have the time.
About your belief in God minus Jesus being part of the equation, give it time. I'm sure we'll get around to a conversation at some point.
Good to hear from you again and do feel free to keep me updated.
Best,
Hello Sophocles. Thank you for your blog. I read your stories of the saints every morning.
