It's not just the parishioners at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church who are supporting their cause. Allies from outside the church came to back St. Archangel Michael at a public hearing, though Saratoga City Council members could do nothing but listen to their comments

At the June 13 planning commission meeting, the last time the church had issues decided by Saratoga officials, neighbors of St. Archangel Michael complained that the noise and parking situation at the church was intolerable and asked the commission to impose conditions on the church. The church was applying to make changes to its use permits. The planning commissioners allowed the church to keep its activities and functions that are related to its mission.
