We can only pray for those who were so tormented by the adversary in life that they never saw the truth and felt the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Elizabethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38889537.post-30405610793931394622009-11-02T05:08:31.882-08:002009-11-02T05:08:31.882-08:00Wonderful post. Me too, s-p.
How true ...Thank you, Constantine.

Me too, s-p.

How true that those gathered there were in "communion". I didn't see it that way before but that makes sense.

I believe the main thing we can do is just listen. Not offer up judgement, but enter into their brokenness.

I personally understand their ethos from experience and "speak their language".

I still have many friends who feel about God exactly as GG Allin did. I speak in love to them and only offer what little the door is open enough to do so. It is often open very little or not at all.

I also have a family member(a cousin) who reminds me of GG. He is tough and set against Christ, or what He thinks Christ is. I pray for him and wait, expecting in hope for his repentance and turning towards God.Sophocleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07923381271179811989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38889537.post-70049199622005128502009-11-01T19:22:55.817-08:002009-11-01T19:22:55.817-08:00It is sad to see human beings so tormented by life...It is sad to see human beings so tormented by life. The "party" at his funeral was just an extention of his rotting, unwashed (unbaptized) flesh. There is a "communion" in that otherwise people would not gather around him and his body and blood. I often wonder what the Church could do to try to reach people like that.Steve Robinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04319784922747041297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38889537.post-42119876260351139832009-11-01T14:47:34.872-08:002009-11-01T14:47:34.872-08:00Very thought provoking article Sophocles, thank yo...Very thought provoking article Sophocles, thank you.Constantinenoreply@blogger.com
